The first stage of the project will close Ardmore from Austin to Meade. This will affect pick-up and drop-off for St. Tarcissus, so the school will be asking parents to drop off using westbound Ardmore to access northbound Moody and drop off on the other side of the school.
The second stage will close Ardmore from Melvina to Meade, and drop off will shift to using eastbound Ardmore in front of the school and then taking southbound Meade to exit. The project should be entirely finished by April 23rd, though weather might impact that schedule. Restoration will follow, including a full paving of the street and should take another three weeks.
There will be emergency access to the school using those routes, but workers on the street will also be present to move if necessary to handle any emergencies.
The closing of Ardmore will also tangentially affect Hitch School, who will be asking parents to avoid Ardmore entirely and use Seminole instead.
